What’s new

There are various improvements “under the bonnet” that make Sally Park 2.0 faster and more accurate, like the new algorithm that animates the compass/radar to help you find your car. 

The main new feature is surely the Parking Meter: just a few steps to set the duration of the Parking Meter and Sally Park will warn you before the end of the time frame with a local notification.

Run your finger over the Parking Meter or use the +5 , +10 and +30 buttons to set the duration: a few minutes before the time frame ends you will receive a notification that will remind you to go and get your car! You can use both the compass and the integrated map to localize your parked car.

Like in a creative laboratory, here the team developers can feel free to experiment their ideas, following parallel projects and developing the Applications they have in mind, as it was for Arloy for iPhone.

So, you can expect some other little surprises in the near future!

Of course, we will continue to provide updates and technical support for every application we have developed.

The Best Is Yet To Come

A few days ago we launched the iCloud Petition, hoping to develop second thoughts at the Cupertino summit regarding some missing features in the shift from MobileMe to iCloud.

Everything started from this article posted on CultOfMac which highlighted the opportunity to preserve some of those great features in iCloud, avoiding their cancellation.

The petition is not over but now, with more than 7500 subscribers, it’s time to reveal the first results of the poll and start sending them directly to Apple.
We created an infographic to sum up all the data, but there are some really important numbers that I want to share with you.

Actually more than 7500 Mac users signed the petition, expressing almost 30.000 preferences; iDisk seems to be the most loved feature (5760 preferences), followed by Mail accounts and signature synchronization (4991 votes). Gallery is on the podium of the chart, and I really hope that Apple will consider adding something similar into iCloud’s Photo Stream.

Because this is the number of viewers who followed our magic night on Friday the 27th May. So, thanks to all of you! Thanks to everyone that twitted, chatted and interacted with us and made the first Italian CocoaHeads a real success. Now we are assembling the videos and organizing all the material we have gathered. We’ll post them soon – stay tuned!

Preparations are in act and excitement is in the air.

Our office is almost ready for the first event, we are sorting out the microphones and the cameras for the live streaming and we are all enthusiastic. The number of inscriptions exceeded our most positive expectations, this fills us with pride and joy. We would like to thank all those that signed up but that could not participate as the number of seats were limited.

In Arloy you can choose between 3 fantastic themes to personalize the App: Dark, Led and Balloons.

They are all carefully fashioned and they all use the unique animation system created by Command Guru, but the Balloons theme has more hidden features that make it special.
